Pupils from Year 8 embarked on an exciting journey to Boreatton Park for their PGL trip, which is a much-anticipated date in their academic year. As they left on 27th June, the atmosphere was filled with excitement for the adventure-packed weekend ahead.
The weekend’s activities were carefully selected to push students beyond their comfort zones whilst in a safe and friendly environment. They participated in thrilling activities such as canoeing, abseiling, shooting, den building, climbing challenges and laser tag. Throughout each challenge, students demonstrated remarkable resilience, determination and teamwork.
All the teachers who attended the trip commented on the strong sense of community that developed amongst the students. They encouraged one another, celebrating each other’s achievements and provided support during challenging moments. The evenings were filled with laughter and lot’s of chatting over dinner, as the pupils shared their experiences and formed new friendships.
Well done to everyone for showing personal excellence in abundance.
