Hi everyone!

This Easter break, myself and Mrs Jones are taking on the challenge of walking the West Highland Way in Scotland – a 96-mile trek through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK to raise money for an incredible opportunity that a team of our students are embarking on: our World Challenge Nepal 2027 trip. In Nepal, we be taking part in meaningful community work with Nepalese widows who have been displaced and impacted by earthquakes, experience a completely different culture, and make a positive impact where it’s really needed.

Each student is working hard on their own personal fundraising, but we are also creating a shared fund to support everyone during our time in Nepal. This fund will help cover the experiences that truly bring the trip to life: from meals and cultural excursions to museum visits, classes, and unexpected opportunities along the way. We also hope that we can benefit the local communities we will be working with and prioritise funding to ensure there is a sustainable legacy of our time in Nepal for the women and children of the region.

If you’re able to support us, even a small donation would mean a lot and will go directly towards helping make this life-changing trip possible. Members of the JTHS community can donate via Parent Pay or for external donations please use Parent Pay Shop: John Taylor High School Shop

Thank you so much for your support.

Miss Platts and Mrs Jones
