Year 8 pupils set off for their much-anticipated PGL weekend at Boreatton Park last weekend, arriving with high spirits and enthusiasm for the planned activities.
Over the course of the trip, pupils took part in a variety of outdoor tasks designed to be both exciting and challenging. These included canoeing, abseiling, target shooting, trapeze, climbing wall and axe throwing. Each activity encouraged students to try new things and showed how they could face risks responsibly and be pushed outside their comfort zones.
Throughout the weekend, students displayed resilience, determination and strong teamwork as they supported each other and celebrated successes. The teachers noted how there was a growing sense of community throughout the weekend which was a joy to see.
The evenings were spent around a campfire eating marshmallows, laughing together and forming new friendships at the silent disco. Well done to all pupils for demonstrating outstanding personal effort and positive attitudes during the trip.
