Year 10 Business students had an unforgettable day at Cadbury World where the two worlds of confectionary and business collide. The visit offered a unique insight into the chocolate-making process, Cadbury’s strategies for business growth and the marketing decisions that have shaped the brand’s success over the years. The session also highlighted the wide range of career opportunities available at Cadbury, sparking interest in roles across marketing, product development and operations. The day concluded with a thrilling 4D cinema experience and a ride on the Cadbury Chocolate Quest, leaving students inspired and entertained by the world of business behind one of the UK’s most iconic brands.
Miss Quirk said, ‘The trip to Cadbury World will be enhanced with a marketing presentation specifically produced for GCSE students aligned to our curriculum aims where they examine an extended case study of Cadbury. Students will study a variety of Cadbury products, their competitors and their advertising campaigns, including the increasing importance of social media marketing and the power of social media as a marketing tool. They will also consider examples of how SWOT and PESTLE analyses are utilised by Cadbury with this curriculum-linked presentation.’
