Vice Chair of Governors and Co-opted Governor
Neil was elected as a parent governor at JTHS in November 2020. A retired Royal Navy Captain with 40 years’ service, Neil’s retirement lasted 24 hours before he was called to work in the NHS and subsequently Public Health England delivering Trust, regional and National Reponses to the COVID 19 pandemic. Neil has a son in Y7 and a daughter in Y9 at JTHS.
There are so many opportunities outside the classroom to get involved in. There are a variety of clubs and trips which I have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in. (Year 11 pupil)
