Please find some information below regarding EU Settled Status from Citizen's Advice Mid Mercia.
Citizen's Advice Mid Mercia are working alongside the Home Office in order to reach out to all of the families in Tamworth and East Staffordshire to support them with their EU Settled Status. The Home Office has recognised that not all families are aware that they need to ensure they have been granted settled or pre-settled status by the end of June 2021. If families do not apply for either their Pre-Settled Status or Settled Status, they will lose the right to live, work, education for their children, rent their homes, access the NHS or claim benefits and state pension.
The aim of our project is to raise awareness of the scheme, empower individuals to access the scheme and assist in applying to the scheme. Please see the attached poster for more details. If you feel that you may need need this service, drop in sessions are available at Winshill Resource Centre on a Tuesday 9.30 – 12, St Chad's, Hunter Street, Burton on Trent on a Wednesday 12.30 - 2.30 and Burton Library on a Thursday 10 - 12. Alternatively, please contact Lynn Webster on 07960 433977.
John Taylor Sporting Young Ambassadors were sent a "thank you gift " of a beautiful handmade flower arrangement by the residents of Palmers Close recently. After receiving an Easter box of goodies organised and delivered by the ambassadors, the arrangement was delivered to school.
The floral arrangement currently takes pride of place in the school reception area.
