Our Aim: Through the teaching of music, we aim to achieve the following: Support and develop students’ ability to discriminate critically between different sounds and encourage the development of appreciation for sound. Allow students to develop competent keyboard and ukulele skills by the end of KS3. Create opportunities for students to access and hone strong creative skills. Enable students to explore self-expression and build confidence through working with others and learning how to communicate and empathize. Impart deep knowledge about a wide variety of musical styles and world cultures to enrich students’ lives.
