This year, our library has been so packed it deserves a holiday! The summer break is the ideal time to relax, unwind and catch up on some reading – whether it be abroad or closer to home. To celebrate the end of this successful academic year, we have launched our summer reading promotion and would like to invite all pupils to participate.
Should you take a book on your travels this summer, we would like to know where you have been and what book you have been reading while you were there. You can share your holiday reads with us by filling in a Reading Postcard for our new library display. There are two ways to participate –
- Collect and fill in a postcard template available from the Librarian’s Desk, either before or after the summer break.
- Take a selfie photo with your book at your holiday destination (or at a famous landmark).
We have already received several postcards, with three continents (Africa, Europe and North America) currently represented. Wherever the journey takes you, we hope you share your stories with us.
