Burton Unity are offering a new programme called Girls Connect & Thrive aimed at young South Asian girls aged 10-16. The sessions will take place on a fortnightly basis at the Family Hub starting the 7th October.
The programme is designed to support young teenage girls with confidence, emotional wellbeing, identity, belonging, safety awareness, and positive social connection.
Many girls are growing up constantly connected online, yet feeling increasingly isolated, anxious, and unsure of where they belong. Through trusted relationships, consistent support, and safe community spaces, Girls Connect & Thrive aims to create an environment where girls feel safe enough to build confidence, develop friendships, explore identity, and access positive support.
