As part of their Scholarship UK scheme, Janus Henderson Investors, a leading global asset management group, are offering five scholarships to support students whose socio-economic backgrounds mean that they face barriers to university study.
As your students head off for study leave, please pass on the information below to any of them who may be interested.
What is the scholarship?
- £2,000
- To be paid across the first year of undergraduate study
- Access to social and networking events hosted by Janus Henderson
Opportunity to be fast-tracked onto formal Janus Henderson schemes e.g. traineeship
Which students are eligible?
The recipients will be Year 13 school leavers attending university from September 2026 and interested in potentially pursuing a career in finance. There are no location or attainment requirements.
We’re particularly keen to hear from students who are:
- Interested in studying a business/finance/STEM undergraduate degree
- First in family to attend university
- Current or historic Free School Meal status
How do students apply?
All interested students must attend an industry insight webinar, which provides valuable information and guidance about pursuing a career in the financial sector.
This year’s webinar is on 29 July, 3.30-5pm. The link to sign up is here:
- 29 July 3.30pm
- The scholarship application form will then be circulated to all who attended the webinar.
If you know of students who would be interested in the £2,000 scholarship, we would really appreciate if you would pass on the opportunity by forwarding this email, the flyer linked below or the web page.
