As the academic year draws to a close, the Family Voices Forum (FVF) is marking the end of its first successful year after launching in December 2025.
The Family Voices Forum is made up of a group of parents and carers who meet regularly with Mr Blanchenot and members of the teaching staff. The forum provides an opportunity for families to share their perspectives from home, while also giving the school a chance to update parents and carers on key developments.
During its first year, the forum has discussed a wide range of topics, including transition between year groups, communication with parents and carers, SEND provision, bullying and behaviour, and school uniform.
Mr Blanchenot said: “The Family Voices Forum gives us another valuable route to gather meaningful feedback from parents and carers. I want to thank the members who’ve volunteered their time to share their views on important topics to benefit the whole school community.”
The forum aims to meet six times a year on Monday mornings and is now looking for additional members.
Sarah Ermoyenous, FVF lead, said: “We’re particularly keen to hear from parents and carers of children joining Year 7 in September, as they’ll bring a fresh perspective to the discussions. We’d also love to get a male perspective to better represent the school community.”
