Mr Ali, Pastoral Support Officer, is thrilled by the uptake for his new extra-curricular Pickleball Club which saw sixteen eager pupils take to the court on Tuesday lunchtime. Mr Ali wants the club to be inclusive, a place for pupils to learn new skills and most importantly to have fun. The group began by learning the rules and talking tactics, before finishing off with a friendly match. He said ‘I am excited to see the pupils progress over the coming weeks. There are some promising players and it’s great to see them not only build skills, but also build friendships too.’
