Year 8 history pupils have combined historical research and artistic expression by diving deep into the study of monarchs by creating detailed pen profiles and crafting unique crown designs. Mrs Dunn’s group have been examining the different characteristics of different periods and have learnt to identify specific design elements that represent various eras of monarchy. This creative task helped bring history to life, allowing students to better understand the symbolism and significance of royal head-wear while developing their historical understanding.
