Now that students have completed their UCAS applications, our focus for those intending to progress to university turns to the next steps. These include Student Finance, potential scholarships, making firm and insurance choices, and understanding the clearing process should it be required.

Students will receive guidance on these topics through assemblies and the Personal Development curriculum. However, I feel it is equally important to keep parents informed. With this in mind, we will be hosting a Student Finance talk delivered by Jeff Chilton from the University of Aberystwyth. This session will provide a valuable overview of what Student Finance is, what students may be entitled to, and how the application process works.

The talk will take place in the School Hall on Tuesday February 24th 6pm-7pm.

Tickets are available via this LINK

In addition to our guest speaker, we will also provide guidance on how students should approach selecting their firm and insurance choices, where to find information about scholarships, and what steps to take if a student needs to enter clearing.
