Service of Welcome
Monday 20th October– 9.10am St James’ Church Barton
As is the tradition at John Taylor High School, we will be holding a Service of Welcome for all students in Year 7 at St James’ Church, Barton during the morning of Monday 20th of October.
At the start of the school day at 9am pupils will be registered by their teachers and escorted across to the church by Senior Staff and personal development teachers. They will then be escorted back to school at the end of the service.
The Service will commence at around 9.10am and last approximately 35 minutes. Pupils who are of a non-Christian faith will be able to take a non-participating role. If you are able to join us you will be most welcome, please sit in the pews on the far sides of the church as we would like to keep Year 7 classes together in the middle of the church.
