On Tuesday 21st April, twelve of our talented Year 10 rugby players attended the Staffordshire schools rugby 7s festival at St Joe’s College.
The team brought skill, enthusiasm and high energy throughout the day, resulting in winning 4 games and only losing 1. Mr Williams was incredibly proud when it was announced they had finished as plate champions.
He commented ‘the team were a pleasure to coach and watch, they performed brilliantly and contributed positively to the matches. It was great to see how they put into practice the skills they’d developed at training and worked as a team to rise to the occasion on the day. Well done everyone!’
