From Staffordshire County Council
Our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme offers children aged 5–16 free access to a wide range of fun, enriching activities across Staffordshire during Easter, summer and winter school holidays. This will be extended to October half term this year.
- They can attend up to 16 sessions throughout the summer holiday
- This includes a healthy meal if the session is over 2 hours
- Paid for places are also available from some of our providers too
The programme is designed primarily to support children and young people who receive benefit‑related Free School Meals (FSM). The Programme supports Children and young people 5-16 years in receipt of benefit -related, free school meals.
Booking process and activity information
- Families will receive unique HAF codes for the child/children from Staffs County Council by email or post and should use these codes to book activities through the Staffordshire County Council website when bookings open on 19 June at 4pm.
- Support for booking is available via online guides and local Family Hubs.
- We recommend that parents/carers set up an account before bookings open, so they do not miss out on activities. This can be done here
- A variety of clubs and activities are offered across the county, including sports, dance, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, animal and sensory activities and many more.
- Activities take place at many locations across Staffordshire, which are viewable on the booking page or map via the Staffordshire County Council website.
