Green Week 2026 is all about celebrating community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. Our focus continues to be on bringing the community together through free, accessible events and initiatives that inspire and educate residents and businesses on greener living and sustainability.
East Staffordshire Brough Council in Partnership with Circularity.org are delighted to invite John Taylor High School pupils to take part in the East Staffordshire GreenWeek 2026 school artwork competition. This is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to explore sustainability and environmental creativity.
COMPETITION DETAILS. Deadline to submit artwork to Miss D Evans is Friday 22nd May.
We would like pupils to design 2D or 3D artwork promoting the below themes. Only recycled materials can be used.
Ages Themes:
7-11 yrs: Recycling
12-14 yrs: Greener Living
15-18 yrs: Green Week
Prizes: Top 3 winners per age group will be announced at the prize ceremony at the East Staffordshire GreenWeek Event at the Burton Market Hall on Saturday 6th June
Display: The prize winners will be displayed at the East Staffordshire GreenWeek Event on 6th June – 14th June at the Burton Market Hall
