Children’s Mental Health Week 2026 takes place from Monday 9th Feb – Friday 13th Feb to raise awareness for the 1 in 5 children who need Mental Health support. Led by Place2be www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk, the theme for this year’s annual event is “This is my place” which focuses on children feeling a sense of belonging and community. We are proud as a school to have achieved The Wellbeing Award for Schools, which promotes positive mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Pupil Awareness

During form time, pupils will be shown the below video and be given information on who to speak to in school, when they should speak to someone and what they can do to support their mental health. We are proud of the pastoral care system we have in place at our school and operate on an open-door policy should any child need to speak to any member of staff. The video will also be shown across school on our digital screens throughout the week.
