Our Year 13 BTEC Business students successfully organised and delivered a variety of events for peers and teachers at lunchtime on Friday, as part of their event management topic.
The students were tasked with managing, from start to finish, a business idea that would generate profit. The students came up with several ideas, strategically weighing up their viability and profitability. The group of students had to take into consideration logistical challenges, pricing, budgets, target audience and promotion.
The business ideas included;
Chocolate Tombola, Hit the Target Game, Water Balloon Game, Refreshment Stall, Gift Stall, Guess The Sweets Game and a Golf Putting Game.
It was great to see so many people getting involve, the hall was packed and everyone had great fun. Well done to all those involved.
