Students from Years 7–10 recently took part in the Burton Schools District Athletics Championships, held over two exciting meetings at Shobnall Athletics Track.
Pupils competed in a full programme of track and field events, demonstrating determination, resilience and outstanding sporting ability as they aimed to secure selection for the East Staffordshire Athletics Team.
The highest-performing athletes will now go on to represent East Staffordshire at the forthcoming Staffordshire County Athletics Championships this weekend at Northwood Stadium, Stoke, where they will compete against the best young athletes from across the county.
