This week, Buckingham Palace hosted four special garden parties to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award presentations. Hosted by His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, the events recognised the outstanding achievements of young people from across the country. As part of this milestone year, school leaders and stakeholders were also invited to attend alongside participants and their families.

On Wednesday, a number of our Year 13 students had the honour of celebrating within the beautiful palace gardens, marking the culmination of their dedication, resilience and commitment to completing the prestigious Gold Award.  As leader of the award in school, Miss Platts was also invited to attend and thoroughly enjoyed celebrating this remarkable achievement. The occasion provided a memorable opportunity to reflect on the skills, experiences and personal growth developed throughout their DofE journey.
