Our awesome girls cricket team competed in a new national hardball competition for state schools this week. The team, which was made up of pupils in different year groups, played excellently against John Taylor Free School, bowling first to set a target of 66, which was chased down successfully without losing a wicket. The girls performance on the day was fantastic to watch as they played strategically with confidence and enthusiasm. The team’s communication, skill and teamwork resulted in them taking a spot in the upcoming quarter final of the Staffordshire competition.
