We were delighted to welcome back the BAE Systems Education Programme team who delved into all things STEM. The interactive workshop aimed to enthuse the next generation of scientists and engineers and showcase the high-quality careers available in this industry, through different qualifications and pathways.

Not only did the pupils love hearing from the BAE team but found it incredibly exciting when they introduced the Robo-Dog, discussed deepfakes and looked into AI. The team also discussed the plethora of jobs within engineering to show the students there is scope within this industry to suit a variety of skills. These included engineering in; mechanical, software, civil, electrical, biomedical, medical, aerospace and environmental.

Well done to all the students for volunteering to answer questions, go up to the front to be part of demonstrations. It was a fantastic workshop that combined hands-on experiences with classroom learning.
