Mrs Holmes is proud to tell you all about a member of her form who competed in a Karate World Championship in Germany over half term. The WKUWORLD is the leading martial arts association. Reuben in Year 7 took part in both kata and sparring in Trier. There were 35 other countries competing for the title of World Champion in the different categories. Reuben achieved a gold medal in sparring and came fifth in kata which is absolutely amazing. He is currently a brown-white belt. The competition/results were televised on Germany’s News. A big congratulations to Reuben. We can’t wait to see what you do next!
