What better way to celebrate the achievements of our star pupils than with a refreshing ice lolly!
Well done to the following Year 8s who have been nominated by Mrs Nurse for showing consistent commitment to their learning; Tiffany R, Ollie W, Mohammed H, Fuizan A, Walter H, Thomas C, Reo M, Rizwan C, Andrew C, Archie H and Maddison S.
Mrs Nurse said that ‘these pupils have consistently gone above and beyond in their lessons, demonstrating the values of Perseverance and Respect. These pupils are a pleasure to teach and deserve this recognition for always putting in the most effort and following our school’s core values.’
Mrs Nurse also commended Freya C and Evie R for being the ‘class philosophers.’ Mr Blanchenot was thrilled to hear how they continually make a positive contribution to discussions and often give mature, well-thought and well-balanced arguments. In turn, this creates great discussion with other peers meaning many feel open and supported in voicing their suggestions.
