Today’s ‘Hot Chocolate with the Head’ celebrated those within the school community who have shown our school’s core value of perseverance. Being a passionate sportsman himself, Mr Blanchenot was particularly pleased to chat with Logan (Y7) about his impressive sailing achievements!
Logan explained how him and his teammate Harrison (Y7) had won the Junior Commodore Cup by demonstrating effective teamwork, determination to succeed and perseverance through challenging conditions. The competition comprised of two races in which points were accumulated for a final score, Logan said ‘they had the perfect start’ which gave the boys a real boost as they took on the course around the lake.
Logan has been sailing for five years and spoke passionately about his sport. He thoroughly enjoys his weekly training and is looking forward to progressing within the sailing world. Well done Logan!
