Hot Chocolate with the Head celebrated pupils who have made a significant contribution in a variety of areas this week including; English, Performing and Charity!

Mr Blanchenot was delighted to speak to a group of Year 7 pupils who had been nominated by Mrs Rudge for doing a superb job completing their poetry recitals. The pupils explained how they were tasked with learning a poem then reciting and performing it in front of the class. Mrs Rudge also commented on how impressed she was with the commitment and perseverance these particular pupils have shown in their English studies. Well done to Harris B, John S, Nathan B, Oliver P, Mateo R, Isabella C, Cecelia H, Emilia C, Orla N.

Seren W in Year 8 told the group how she is running 200K throughout May for Brain Tumour Research, which is an incredible achievement. Mr Markwell who nominated Seren, was incredibly impressed with her determination and commitment to a cause that is close to her heart. Seren shared with the group that she aims to complete about 8km each day until the end of the month. Seren has done an incredible job of raising over £400 currently. Lastly, Miss Crutchley nominated Isabella H in Year 9 for performing a solo at the Lichfield Garrick in the Lichfield Gotta Dance show on Thursday 19th March. Isabella has a natural talent for performing and captivates the audience when she is on stage. She has starred in a number of school productions and performs regularly for large audiences. We wish Isabella all the success for the future with her performing arts.
Well done to everyone for their nominations! If you would like to nominate a pupil for Hot Chocolate with the Head, please email a.letren@jths.co.uk.
