Our first ‘Hot Chocolate with the Head’ celebrated those pupils who had shown kindness and respect at the recent JTMAT Forensics Day & Science Quiz. Mrs Starbuck nominated Dylan, Sophie, Jeffrey, Eira, William, Mya, Vincent and Rebekah for their contribution in the science department.
The Forensics Day & Science Quiz is a trust-wide initiative and a much-anticipated event for all schools within the JTMAT. To read more about the event, please click here.
Whilst the students tucked in to their chocolate goodies and enjoyed their hot chocolate, Mr Blanchenot explained how the teachers were incredibly proud of how these pupils had given-up their time & become an integral part of the event by being on-hand to help every step of the way. Not only did the pupils help with the logistics of the day, they also helped other pupils and took an active part in the event.
All the pupils told Mr Blanchenot that they thoroughly enjoyed helping at the event and would love to be involved in future events.
