Are you in year 9, 10 or 11 with a passion for cooking?

We’re working in partnership with the Geoffrey Harrison Foundation to deliver a Junior Chefs Academy in our Mulberry Restaurant.

This exciting programme gives young people in school years 9, 10 and 11 the chance to engage to develop their skills in a professional kitchen setting, covering food preparation, cooking and presentation, hygiene, safety, teamwork, organisational skills, and food service techniques.

Running Tuesday – Saturday over half term, the programme introduces students to practical culinary skills, underpinned by basic theory and nutrition, and provides hands-on experience with fresh ingredients.

On the final day, students will ‘graduate’ by preparing, cooking, and serving a formal three-course meal to their parents or guardians. This special event will culminate in the awarding of certificates of achievement, celebrating the students’ hard work and accomplishments.
